I have XBMC installed on my mediacenter and want to view the complete xbmc screen on a remote pc.
The reason is, I want to mount a panel pc to the wall in my livingroom and want to see the what xbmc is showing on (and propably on different other clients)
I had two technologies in mind:

- ffmpeg: do a x grab and stream it to the network -> would be my favourite, since most flexible, but no control possible
- vnc: use vnc to show on a remote machine (even with video?)

Anybody has any ideas to this topic or even experience?

I think what you need is to install some kind of XBMC Remote for whathever OS the panel pc is running on? If the pannel is an iPad you would have to install XBMC Remote for iOS so you can see what's currently being played also being able to control the main server remotely.
