This has probably been covered before so feel free to redirect me if you have more luck in finding it. So here goes - All my movies reside in folders so the contents look like this:
folder.jpg
fanart.jpg
moviename.iso
moviename-fanart.jpg
The presence of the fanart.jpg is to give a background when viewing in thumb mode. Sometimes my choice of fanart hasn't been that good, so I change it now and then.I usually at this stage go into the thumbnails folder and delete the videos folder. This works sometimes in that the background gets refreshed. I say sometimes because mostly it doesn't. Even though the 'old' fanart has been deleted, it still comes up. I looked in the thumbnails folder in those folders numbered 0 to f and there is all this crap in there! stuff that was deleted ages ago, some things I never even had! Almost 3000 files! Is there some way to clean out all that stuff that isn't used or never was used? I've tried all the clean library features in settings but it remains.
