Latest Frodo release
MPC-HC as external player (no issues with it)

Audio works fine and everything, and there is no issues with the player, only launching to the player from XBMC. Basically the menu sound "click" when I hit enter to launch the video from XBMC doesn't stop playing - just infinitely loops. I can manually mute XBMC via windows mixer, so I know its coming from XBMC itself. I haven't found a solution besides turning menu sounds off, but I like them on. It only happens when I hit "enter" on the keyboard too, when I click on it there is no click sound and the sound is normal.

Any ideas? I've searched for this and haven't found anything. I'm so close to my setup being complete, I need to figure this out.

Has anyone even heard of this issue before? I can't find any other information on it.

I have seen this problem in my system. I changed the playback and passthrough devices to HDMI WASAPI and that solved the problem. However, Frodo 12.1 won't release the audio device while starting external player and so audio was not working. Downgrading to 12.0 solved it.
