Frame rate doesn't sync for 1080p
#1
Hey,
I'm relatively new to XBMC and have now watched a couple of HD files over the internal player.
However, as of late the internal player cannot properly sync the replay to the display framerate of 23,98 hz. When i start a movie the picture is extremely choppy and the frame rate varies from about 23 hz to 35 hz. Naturally i have played with the options of audio and video adjustment, sync and so on but found no working configuration up to now.
Is there a workaround for this problem? Some mystical button i havent found yet etc?
I'm using windows 7 32 bit, the tv is connected via hdmi and the 5.1 receiver via coax.
I'd really appreciate any help

Did you accidentally enable deinterlacing? Had something similar happen the other night.

i triedthe deinterlacing and it did change the frame rate but the video was still not running smoothly.
What fixed it in the end was just resetting all settings and starting from scratch. I probably set some values that conflicted with each other.
Thanks for the help
