[AppleTV] How do I Eject Usb HDD from either Frontrow or Xbmc?
#1
I have just installed Xbmc on a friend's AppleTV and enabled the Usb port,
so that I can give him some media from time to to time via a Usb HDD.

However, when I unplug the Usb HDD (HFS+) from the AppleTV (Frontrow or Xbmc) and remount it on my PC,
I always get a dialog telling me that I made a dirty removal and that i must scan the drive, before I can use it...
It's never been corrupted, but I would like to unmount correctly.

I've looked through the settings in both Frontrow and Xbmc for a way to remove it cleanly,
as well as googling for one, but can't find any way.

So... how can I eject the Usb HDD cleanly...?

thx

Select it in XBMC, bring up the context menu, select remove safely.
