I have a ton of files on my NAS drives. While using XBMC, I frequently have mkv playback stop on me. It is due to broken files that hve small pieces missing from them.
Sometimes I can resume from that stopping point, but most times I have to start from the beginning and skip past the trouble spot. I tried using VLC play to see what would happen with the same file - playback stopped at the same point. I tried BSPlayer- and I got a dropped frame or two and choppy video for a second or two, but playback still continued.
Is there anyway to get XBMC to do what does BSPlayer? At this point it is harder to check thousands of files for errors then trying to find a way to get around the stopping and live with the quick choppy playback.
