Since last night, everytime I try to play a video in frodo, it tries to open a zip file "fo-e622.zip", gets to 11%, keeps trying then freezes requiring a forced closure of xbmc. I've scanned the pc for both malware and the named file and there is nothing like that on there.

Any ideas what I can do?

A proper debug posted to a pastebin site linked to a message here is the easiest... but have a close look at the debug, and you'll probably see the issue. Look for a corrupt file or some file that XBMC interprets as a video file that is packed when it's not., or worse a corrupt library. http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=42708
