Aeon Nox not obeying Substituted folders?
#1
Is this a known bug, something that I have discovered or have I done something wrong?

I have started a mySQL DB which is located on my HP N40L Microserver, i have done the advancesettings.xml on all computers, and with that I substituted, playlists, sources and favourites.

I edited the favourites and playlists on the server, then went to my HTPC, fired up XBMC, and then went to favourites, and playlists, the edited favourites and playlists pick up and everything is fine.

Problem comes in when I create a custom home item, and then both the favourites and the playlists revert to my locally saved playlists and favourites, I went a step further and deleted my favourites.xml on the local machine, but then xbmc gives a brief error message, and in the debug log it shows the error that the local favourites cant be found.

I wanted to post the debug log, but just wanted to make sure that maybe this is known, and if not, i will post the debug.

Thanks.

I am not at home at the moment, so i cant check if this works, just went through the Aeon Nox FAQ, and I saw this;

Code:
Q. I’ve installed Nox 4 but my widgets aren’t working any more?
If you're upgrading to Frodo and Git version of Nox from Eden, there are critical addons/scripts you will need to install.

The scripts used in Eden for watchlist and randomitems have been replaced by a new service called Skin Widgets http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=142389

The scripts listed below and others can be obtained from here http://mirrors.xbmc.org/addons/frodo/

service.skin.widgets (if widgets aren't activating)
script.playlists (if your playlists can no longer be selected to add to home menu)
script.favourites (if your favourites can no longer be added to home menu)

Maybe this is my problem? will test later
