Hello,

I have 2 xbmc mediacenters, 1 is based on the iON system and I've got Openelec running on it, in the openelec settings it's possible to change the syslog settings so the log files are send to a remote syslog server.
My question is; Is this also possible for the AppleTV xbmc version?

Yes you can configure remote syslog on the ATV2. I have it configured and it is working great. Just edit /etc/syslog.conf and add the following line:

*.* @ipaddress

Where ipaddress = your remote IP address. I just tried openelec tonight, but it doesn't seem to want to let me edit the syslog.conf file even as root. I will report back it I get it working.
