taskbar on windows server 2012
#1
Hi guys

wandering if anyone can help.

I have setup xbmc on server 2012 and am using task scheduler to auto load xbmc using

"...../xbmc.exe" -fs -d 10

and set the taskbar to autohide.

However there is still a small band across the bottom of my TV Sad

I have resorted to running unified remote via my Android and bringing the focus onto XBMC to make it look perfect, so its not urgent, but would be nice if anyone knew of a way to do this without me having to run the extra piece of software.

Any help much appreciated.

Check to make sure it is running in true fullscreen mode and not just a fullscreen window. Check it in system\settings\system\Video Output.

Do you have to have the taskbar set to autohide?

I think the taskbar will not show through if it's fully visible. A little counter-intuitive, but that's the way it works on Windows 8 for me!
