Hi everyone, first post here, just got a question about setting up a shared TV tuner card.
So I have a main PC that stores all the media, which then gets streamed to a Win7 XBMC PC in a different room. I have just installed a TV Tuner card in the main PC, and I'm just wondrring if its possible to use it for the xbmc PC in the other room? Will 'npvr' be usefull? (To my understanding I have learnt it has streaming capabilities?) I am new to all this so the simpler you can explain the better, thanks in advance!

Install nPVR on the main PC and setup the tuner and guide. Install XBMC and the nPVR addon on the second PC. Configure the nPVR addon and enable liveTV in XBMC's settings. XBMC will stream the video from the tuner on the main PC. These are just the overview steps. You should view the guides for nPVR and XBMC for detailed information about setup.
