XBMC Freezes when video paused
#1
I am having an issue with XBMC freezing up every time I pause a movie or tv show. It hangs and I have to hard boot the computer as nothing will un freeze the program. I have attached my logs:

Your debug xbmc.log: http://xbmclogs.com/show.php?id=12644
Your XBMC crashlog: http://xbmclogs.com/show.php?id=12645

Does anyone have an idea what is going on here? The problem seems to be getting worse.

Thanks in advance!

Hi!

I look trough the log very fast and I saw this

18:32:50 T:548 ERROR: SQL: The database disk image is malformed
Query: PRAGMA cache_size=4096
18:32:50 T:548 ERROR: CDatabase::Connect failed with 'SQL: The database disk image is malformed
Query: PRAGMA cache_size=4096

'
18:32:50 T:548 ERROR: SQL: The database disk image is malformed
Query: PRAGMA default_cache_size=4096
18:32:50 T:548 ERROR: CDatabase::Connect failed with 'SQL: The database disk image is malformed
Query: PRAGMA default_cache_size=4096

'
18:32:50 T:548 ERROR: Unable to create new database

I'm no expert, don't know if this could cause it, but its worth a try to make a clean install of XBMC
The Problem is not the problem. The problem is your attitude about the problem.
Do you understand?

Thanks for the suggestion - I tried a clean install and it seemed to work for a little while, but now it is freezing even worse than before. I think it is actually an issue with Windows 8, not XBMC, as it has started happening in Firefox as well.

Maybe some security app of yours is interfering?

After weeks of tinkering, and slowly replacing and returning parts, it turns out the problem was the motherboard. I replaced it a few days ago and no freezes since. It's nice to be up and running again! Thanks for the help!
