Win Intel NUC - Artifacts/strange rendering in menus (fixed)
#1
Hi,

bought myself a Intel NUC (DC3217IYE) and it is working perfectly with windows 8 and XBMC.
It plays back my HD movies and performs excellent but i have noticed one thing:

Some rendering issues/artifacts occur in the menus and it is always the same elements that are affected.
-pause, stop and forward button (strangely not the other buttons)
-background for the breadcrumb at the top
-background for the the player controls when playing a video

Has anyone else noticed this kind of behaviour and know what to do in order to fix it? Smile

specs for system:
-Intel NUC DC32117IYE (i3 cpu and intel HD 4000 gpu)
-8gb memory
-64 gb ssd
-Windows 8 (all drivers updated)
-XBMC 12.1

Yes, it is probably an issue with the latest Intel driver. I have seen it being mentioned on the forums several times.

for instance here: http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=162837

Roll back to the one to last video driver from intel, that should fix it.

EDIT:

Problem was solved by rolling back the aphics driver to previous version. It seems the latest driver from intel was causing these artifacts. Solved Smile
