Official XBMC Remote App on IOS 6.x (latest)

I am really fond of the XBMC but today I was disappointed that the Official XBMC remote App does not find my XBMC. Even if I configure the the remote app by putting the IP address, it will not find it. I have changed nothing from the day before.

My questions:

1. Where can I repair this without losing my database?

2. Is there an xml file I can edit ?

3. is this a known issue?

TIA

This is a network issue for sure. Double check your webserver is activated in XBMC and any osx firewall is switched off (or even firewalls in your router).

thanks for the reply, it was a one off which resulted in the iPad app needed to be killed and restarted.

try the iOS app XBMC commander.

I tried almost all remote apps and this one is the most useful and handy for me
