I just got a G-Box 2.2 running Android 4. I am running it off of Wi-Fi in my home. The signal strength is excellent. When I do a speed test using my phone I get about 12 MB/s download. When I do a speed test on the G-Box I get only 6 MB/s download. I did the test from the same location in my house. I'm wondering why the slower speed on the G-Box? Would a firmware update solve the issue? If I update the firmware, will I lose all the programs and addons?
