When I try to subscribe to a channel via Kodi's EPG or channel view I get the following error:

Are you running the TVHeadend backend on the same PC as Kodi or via a network to a TVHeadend server somewhere else on your network?

Same problems here either random crashes or crashes after opening a channel or after zapping between a few channels.
TVheadend and Kodi on same computer.
3.9.24xx releases seems to be the last ones that works for me.

Install the debug symbols for tvheadend and post a new stack trace. The package you want to install is "tvheadend-dbg".

Not needed i'm compiling from git so i can compile without disable-debug

Little old git version now compiled wrong version but same thing has happened with all new versions.

It should be fixed in 3.9.2665.

I tried with newest git for a few days ago and had same problem but i'm trying with 3.9.2709 now and seems better.

Good, if you get another crash you should report it on tvheadend.org/issues instead of here, that'll get it fixed more quickly.

Ok seems it's still same problem it just took a few hours this time until it happened and when i start again it happens again directly.

Seems that atleast my problem was that i had the option "Linked tuners" enabled and that caused tvheadend to crash.
That is fixed now in newest git version.
