Question
Hey, I'm looking to build a custom HTPC for myself, but I haven't decided a few things...
I was planning on using it on the living room, but as I live with my parents and sister (they will complain at every single hiccup it makes, specially my sister)
For now, all I have decided is to use the BitFenix Prodigy, midnight black of course, it has an awesome price on ncix.ca, but the problem is that it's designed for a mini-ITX mobo, so I can't use the ASRock A75M FM1 CIR USB3.0 SATAIII UEFI μATX that eskro recommended, but I wish to continue with the AMD A8-3850 4x2.9GHz HD6550D FM1 100W (it'll be able to play full SBS 3D movies right?).. So I'm looking for some recommendations about what mobo I should use (Please, keep in mind that I live in Brasil, so I probably won't be able to buy some obscure models you may suggest)..

Some Useful Information:
It doesn't need to have wifi capabilities, it's near my router;
I want to download the whole internet if I can, so SATA slots are important;
And I may or may not buy/build some surround system in the near future, so mobos with spdif are prefered

Thank you!!

tl;dr need some recommendations about mini-ITX

The motherboard you linked is micro-ATX. You want the ASRock A75M-ITX motherboard instead. It's a pretty good motherboard. I've probably had 1-in-10 RMAs. But, for FM1 mini-ITX it's really the only choice now anyway.

Be careful not to confused it with the ASRock FM2A75M-ITX which is for FM2 CPUs and has a lot of issues. Stay far away,

Oh.. It's the only one then, I feel a little bit silly for asking that Confused...
Thank you! Wink
Can you tell me if this mobo will be able to play 3D movies? I mean, with some good CPU, GPU, etc..

The GPU is a function of the CPU these days. The FM1 APUs all reportedly support 3D. The A8 is a good choice, especially if you can find a 65W version like the A8-3800 or 3820. The 3850 is a 100W TDP part so you want to make sure you have good cooling and ventilation. The Prodigy is pretty big so you'll have better luck in that respect.

Thank you, I guess I'll put some big, but silent, coolers.. Looking for the right ones to fit my needs.
I guess I have no more doubts for now... Thank you for your time and knowledge!
