HDMI CEC?
#1
So i finally finished my setup
YAMAHA RX-V373 (aka HTR-3065) - the RX-V473 is on xmbc wiki listed as supported and is basically same thing with ethernet port
RaberryPi now with open elec 3.0.1
Epson 8350 (aka eh-tw3200)

My problem is that hdmi cec does not seam to work (projector does not support CEC).

I control XBMC via MCE RC6 remote. I would like reciver to power on/off when i press power off on remote and also i would like to be able to control receiver volume. Is that possible?

With CEC it is reversed: The central unit (usually the display) controls the other units.

Ok so for me central unit would be XMBC or AVR. Really i think it would be XMBC, since i don't have CEC capable display ...

When i have "Make XBMC the active source when starting" checked on controls does not work.
If i uncheck it xbmc remote controls AVR volume and avr controls XBMC menu. However i have also chcekek "Put devices in standby mode when activating screensaver" and it does not power off the AVR when screenserver is activated.

Also "Connected to HDMI device" is missing from the menu.

Also it worked once, i think it was when i started with hdmi cable connected to lcd display and reconnected it to receiver while rPi was still ON.
