I currently have this motherboard:
MB ZOTAC GF9300-K-E 775

The onboard video has been totally fine for playing 1080p content, but if I now want to explore 3D content on my new TV... well, that doesn't work and it lags quite a bit dropping frames.

Any recommendations for a video card I could add to this so that I could play 3D without issue?

what kind of 3d? straight from a bluray with an external player?

any half 3D should play fine, as they are the same as a regular 1080p stream. The display does the processing of the over-under or side-by-side conversion to 3D
