The wiki is your friend http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=Use...ttings.xml, check Video\latency.

The delays can be set indepently.

I can´t get it to work.. i have created the file advancedsettings in \AppData\Roaming\XBMC\userdata
and my file looks like this:

<advancedsettings>
<video>
<latency>
<refresh>
<min>23</min>
<max>24</max>
<delay>306</delay>
</refresh>
<refresh>
<rate>50</rate>
<delay>181</delay>
</refresh>
</latency>
</video>
</advancedsettings>

isn´t this right? what do i have to do?
can you please help me?

Make sure you have saved the file with a .xml extension and not .txt.

Just tried it on my system and works as expected.

Nothing wrong with the format, I copied it as is to my userdata folder and it worked without issue.

Post a screenshot of the location and the file in explorer. Thanks

How are you checking that it isn't working? Open a video file and press 'O' - this will open a codec on-screen-display and on the third line you will see C(ad:-306 - or whatever value you entered)

Here is a screenshot of your advancedsettings file on one of my files with your original delay settings in 23-24 refresh rate.

Showing where? - Post a screenshot as I have and let's see what it say's, because I'm not following you on this one. Previously you said it didn't work, now you are implying it is but isn't applying the correct delay.

Go back while playing the file and manually change it back to 0 delay, then check whether the delay has been applied from the advancedsettings file.

You may be seeing a double-dip delay 306 and 125, which will obviously throw things out even more.
