When I play videos I get tearing in them mainly when it pans left and right. for some reason it mainly does it at the top of the video.
any help would be appreciated.
I thought it was my old card so I changed to an nvidia GT 630 but still the same problem :|.

I am running Ubuntu 12.04 with stable release Frodo 12.2
I just figured out if I go back and change the session to XBMC is does not do it all all... so why would it do it in 2D Ubuntu but not in XBMC session.
any help would be appreciated.
