Here are 3 non-working English free news strm file contents I tried working on on May 2013, I'm stumped. I used a windows program called streamtransport to find rtmp info and I use a Mac with CyberDuck SFTP to connect to an Apple TV2 to transfer over XBMC .strm files that work after using seas0n pass. I've been using NotePad on WindowsOS to save files or TextEdit on MacOS as plain text to save files. The swf have been found by searching search engines or by searching the web page source. It would be nice to know other methods of locating swf URLs. The streams are not working because I believe CNTV (China) uses UDP not TCP, DWTV (Germany) uses location hopping, and PressTV (Iran) has an old swf location listed below, maybe, I'm not sure about the Iran file. The Iran file worked once for about 5 minuets but now freezes and sometimes reboots XBMC when played on the Apple TV2 with FRODO v12.1. I load strm files with the XBMC "file" option under "video" but with a little work maybe they could be made into XML for the "video add-ons" option under "video". For now I can just watch these 3 live news streams in a browser window.

crusader88 - Your PressTV strm contents above works. Thanks for that. I'm not familiar with "visionip.tv" that your strm contents uses. It looks like its a forwarding service connected to the original http://www.presstv.com/live.html source.

I don't have any other DWTV or CNTV links. I saw a post here on the forums claiming that DWTV was currently working with WindowsOS XBMC with use of a "video addon" that calls an .exe file. But that .exe file won't run on non WindowsOS. I thought I had DWTV playing in VLC with an MMS link earlier but it is down now and might not have helped with a XBMC strm file.
