Hi all:

I'm trying to use a remote control with my andoid phone.

I go to system > settings>services>webserver - click on "allow control of XBMC via HTTP" and I get the following error: Failed to start.

What am I doing wrong

Do you maybe have something else using the default TCP port? maybe Apache running on the same box?

I don't have apache.
There's nothing I can do ??change to another port

If you are running on windows do a netstat -a -b -n | find "80" and see what program is using that port if on linux do a netstat -n -p | grep ":80" get the pid and find what process is using that port this is assuming port 80 is the default I use 8080 on all my XBMC machines.

you can change the port to whatever you want...
