Hello,

I am looking hard to find a case for my new HTPC which:

• is mini-ITX compatible
  
• with blu-ray drive
  
• can contain a single 2.5" hard drive
  
• very compact
  
• good quality
  

Basically I am looking for a case similar to the mac mini.

Around 100$ I only found the MC-80BL which have been tested and approved around here.
Does anyone can recommend some other good cases ?

It seems that the Wesena ITX2 has heating problem but I will definitely keep it as an option.

Realan E-i7 though much bigger than the Mac mini. If you want something Mac mini size that doesn't overheat, then you could build something like this i3-3217U barebones though finding a mainstream mobile i3 motherboard is not easy. There are Celeron mobile 847 and Atom 2550/GT610 motherboards to be found however.

The ISK300 and the Realan E-I7 have both the added possibility to have a Low Profile card (and additional hard drive), but they seems a little bulky compared to the MC-80BL or the SH-80.
Ah ! tough choice...

I am not sure where you are located but in the US, the MC-80 is available as the HT-80.

I am in Germany. But your proposition made me change my mind and I am now looking to the Realan E-I7 (it is still compact and the extra space can only be better for cooling).
The Relean E-I7 is sold here in germany:
