#16
For other platforms ProjectM is now at release 2 also.

ProjectM is compatible with Milkdrop 2 presets, would it be easier? I see they have XBMC on their homepage. I use Windows, maybe it's already implemented for other versions?
For troubleshooting and bug reporting please make sure you read this first (usually it's enough to follow instructions in the second post).

Yes the very latest ProjectM 2.x code from http://projectm.sourceforge.net should build for both OpenGL 1.x and OpenGL ES 2.0 on all platforms so a port should work

projectM latest code with OpenGL ES 2.0 support should even add the possibility of iOS and Android support too, as well as Linux and Mac OS X

I am sure that just as many Apple TV 2 and Pivos Android users as well as Raspberry Pi users would appreciate projectM visualizer on their platforms

There are already other existing feature request for this too, like http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=171519

Please devs! +1

Go for it! Support on rPI would be awsome!

Hey spiff is that something we can replace the current visualisation with? Where do we need to put it to get it to work?

Great work! Please note that upstream have released ProjectM version 2.1 now as well

http://projectm.sourceforge.net

ProjectM 2.1.0 was actually released over a year ago now

http://sourceforge.net/projects/projectm/files/

Thank you very much for looking at it! Hoping to see a OpenGL ES version for XBMC soon too

linux builds are here: https://launchpad.net/~wsnipex/+archive/...s-unstable

note that you will get an error that the package tries to overwrite stuff in the xbmc package, so you must force install it for now.

Can someone please help. I tried disabling it and now it still plays screensaver trailers. I have since uninstalled it from the add on itself and it's still playing screen saver trailers. Looked in the user data folder but couldn't find anything. How do I get it to stop?
