So, the EPG seems to work, and setting up a recording seems to work, but then the timer goes away.
How does one set up to record a series? (airing weekly, same channel, same time) without having to go in and manually tell it to record every time?

XBMC's PVR framework is pretty weak on this front, so you pretty much have to resort to scheduling recurring recording in the backend app's own UI (NextPVR.exe in this case), or via it's web app (NEWA).

I'm sure these XBMC short comings will be fixed in the near future.
