hi,

i'm using a raspberry pi with openelec and tvheadend. i can watch tv via webinterface (http://192.168.2.101:9981/extjs.html) without any problems, but via openelec there is just the audio.
I searched but didn't find any corresponding problem. would be happy if someone has some ideas about that =)

You need the mpg2 codec if the TV stream has a mpg2 video track.

Indeed, you will need an MPEG-2 license in any case to be able to play standard TV channels on the Pi.
