[xbmcbuntu] Problems with AVCHD MTS files
#1
Hi,

I tried to watch videos from a canon hd-cam which records in 1080i/AC3. The video is played fine, but the sound (sent via HDMI to my TV) is not OK. It sounds like a helicopter (don't know how to describe it better).
Any Ideas, how I can get the sound working?

Thank you!

Turn OFF AC3 in the xbmc settings and set number of speakers to 2.0 - Best for testing is choose Analog and your hdmi device name.
First decide what functions / features you expect from a system. Then decide for the hardware. Don't waste your money on crap.

Thanks! Turning OFF AC3 helped. Now the videos are played fine.
