[Release] IMDb Update (Movie Ratings + Top250 + MPAA) *Jarvis*
(2016-02-27, 04:52)inv3ntor Wrote: By default there is no separator for thousands in the number of votes, so my 1st update has listed all my movies without a separator, for example 200000.

So i went into settings, and changed the thousands separator to "," and tried to update again, however 0 movies were updated and no "," were added. So instead of them now reading 200,000 they still read 200000. Im guessing cause it only updates entries with 1% change to the votes etc.

This is very annoying, i even tried uninstalling the addon, installing it & running it again so it would think it was the 1st run. This did not work.

How can i add the "," separator to the thousands votes?

Thanks for the reply. I read post 276, however it has nothing to do with my problem. Also on my 2nd machine, the "," works fine as i changed the default setting before doing the initial scan.

Completely different issue, but thanks for the reply.

I'm unable to get this working on 16 either. Sad

Such a great add-on - any idea when it's likely to be working on 16?

Thanks

I hope this could help.

I just use urllib2 instead of httplib in somes files (movies.py and imdbMovie.py) and the script now work well Big Grin

Code:
13:18:51 T:9076  NOTICE: [IMDB Update] - Fight Club: updated from 4.19999980927 (35181) to 8.9 (1271608)

I have still some problem with omdbapi.com error but I think it's because the movies don't have the right IMDB id or the movie is unknown on IMDB.

You can download my modded script here : https://www.dropbox.com/s/8fhrvzyr9d8ooc...8.zip?dl=0
Sorry for my english, but, you know, I'm French so ...

Can you provide your changes on the official github to make it available on the global repo?
Thanks!

I'm sorry but currently there is no option to disable the 1% check :/ uninstalling won't help either.
If you ave no fear in editing code files you could set the value in this line https://github.com/jansepke/script.imdbu...ovie.py#L8 to 0

@P_Jamula use pastebin sites for logs.
Texture Cache Maintenance Utility: Preload your texture cache for optimal UI performance. Remotely manage media libraries. Purge unused artwork to free up space. Find missing media. Configurable QA check to highlight metadata issues. Aid in diagnosis of library and cache related problems.

Paste your log text into a site such as http://pastebin.com or http://xbmclogs.com, where you'll get a unique link, which you should then paste in the forum.

It's much easier to read logs on mobile devices when they're hosted on a pastebin-type site than the forum (Tapatalk deals with large logs particularly badly).

Cool addon. I don't always notice that the updates match IMDB. Not sure why. I use the Madnox skin that shows my scraped IMDB stats and then Extended Script shows a more current stat. Does this just update the base .nfo?

Is there a way to hide this completely? I can hide the status, but not the notification popup? I just want it to do it's thing...or at least go away quicker.

@Jandalf

Could you update the addon to Krypton, please?
I've tried bumping the informations inside of the addon.xml and it seems to run well, but my movie ratings are completely gone after the updating process.
