Setup:
3 Pi's all running raspbmc (June Update)
In house server running apache HTTP
XBMC Remote IPhone App

Issue:
This issue was before June update (was hoping June would fix it)

Movie streams just fine however when I hit the stop button on the app the movie goes black for half of second then continues to play for another 10 seconds or so and then will finally stop.

I ran XBMC on my macbook air and used the remote app to try it and it stops immediately when button is pressed.

My opinion (for what it's worth):

I think it has something to do with the cached video. On the airbook it didnt matter if there was less than 1mb of cached video or over 20mb of cached video the stop button halted everything.

However with the Pi's if there is very little cached video the movie will stop as it should.

Can you try rbej's Gotham build (http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid...pid1453031). There's been a lot of fixes since Frodo.
