HTCP recommendations?

Question
I know there are quite a few threads pertaining to this very subject, but I couldn't find the answers I'm looking for. I'm looking to set up a HTCP in my bedroom, and possibly a few other rooms and have no idea what to get. There are so many options out there! Here is what I have found so far and wondering if anybody here can recommend any of these devices or has a device not listed that they would recommend:

I'm looking for something with everything preinstalled. Not a big deal as I can download the add ons myself, but it would be nice to buy an all-in-one device. I've been using XBMC on my macbookpro, but I'd like to free it up and have a dedicated HTCP. I also like the idea of bundles that come with remotes (though I'll most likely be using my tablet as a remote) and cables and wifi.

I primarily need it for XBMC. I don't know how to set up MythTV, it seems very complicated to me, so I don't plan on using MythTV. I also don't use an external hard drive for a video library.

I appreciate all your recommendations.
Thank you!

Probably Ras is the best option but....
it will be really slow compared to your macbook... and really dont know if it works with MythTV...

Do cost more... but they also will require installation before you will be able to use them...

Celeron NUC . Bit more expensive than the options you listed and doesn't come with xbmc per installed but you get a lot more power/stability/capability.

Thank you!
1. Pi is slow in menu changes etc.
2. Not really suitable as main HTPC, but fine as additional unit in bedroom etc.
3. You can fairly easily DIY a Pi kit for less, particularly if your TV supports CEC (no need for remote), or has wired ethernet connection nearby (no need for wireless dongle).
4. I would not recommend unless you have a device capable of writing to an SD card at home (strong possibility you will need to overwrite or replace SD card some time in the future, particularly if the build you receive is highly overclocked).

1) Good to know
2) My primary HTPC will be the master bedroom.
3) I am using the Yatse app on my tablet. Great remote. - I don't have the ability for wired connection in my bedroom, but I have a Ubiquiti UniFi AP that lights up the house.
4) I have numerous computers that can write to an SD card

With all this in mind, what device would you suggest?

Thank you for your help!
