OS X Mouse pointer visible flickering since Security Update 2013-003
#1
I installed the latest security update from Apple for OS X 10.8.4 called 2013-003. It was supposed to correct some bugs in Quicktime (handling the h.264 coded video and the so called mvhd-atom in the mpeg 4 format).

Since the update the mouse pointer is always visible when using the XBMC. When XBMC starts up you see the orange XBMC pointer (if mouse is enabled). If not moving the mouse it goes away after a few seconds but the original OS X pointer is still there, albeit flickering, but still visible. Since it can't really be hidden it's always a white dot flickering in the corner of the screen and can be quite annoying. Turning off the mouse enabling won't help either.

I'm using a Mac mini mid 2010.

Has anyone else noticed this, and is it someway I can turn it off in the XBMC settings found in the library or package folders?
