Not sure if this can be done, but is there a way to have all my other movies (like sporting events, anime, etc) in a separate area on xbmc than my regular movies? So like right now I have all movies within a folder called "movies" on my computer. Most of them show up in the Movies section of xbmc, but I would like to have it so that I click on Movies, then the option to click Movies or Anime or something along those lines.

Yes you can, I do this with concerts. Add a tag that is common for each category that you want (eg. Grand final. sport.avi) then create custom playlists searching for sport in the file name. Most skins support custom playlists on the home menu. I hope this helps
