Could someone point me to a guide or explain the difference between all of these? If I hover over my favorite tv show and do 'Scan for New Conent', which of these comes in to play?

The path stored in the database is used for the library. Sources.xml are used for file view. Mediasources.xml are used in the "browse" window you use to select sources.

Thanks Ned... does that mean that if I'm having troubles updating my library one computer, but it works on another, I should ignore my local .xmls, and just worry about what's in the database?
All my sources look like "smb://192.168.1.8//Video/TV/Firefly/"
I bet that Mac handles the double //'s okay, and Windows doesn't... going to make a backup of my db, and try a search-replace...
