I was very impressed that each movie/video/tv show etc comes up with it's video/audio spec fully listed... then I got to thinking - if the information is contained in the NFO file, and I downloaded that file seperately (ie when scraping), does the info actually have any relation to what my files really are? Does the NFO file somehow look at your video file and fill itself in? Or what....

it's extracted from the media files. it's stored in exported nfo files to speed up the import only.
