Correct, folders and associated files are not deleted, only the media file.

hmmm..... then it make sense why I can see the folder even performed delete action in context menu.....
I will keep an eye on it and keep testing, many thanks from all of you.
P.S: Is it possible to remove the folder and associated files on the go ?

You can delete the folder and other files from the file manager. Currently there is no way for those files to be deleted when an item from the library is deleted. In the case of TV shows you wouldn't want the root folder containing a series to be deleted, and are probably many other cases where this is the case.
