Win Bluray Playback issues with extracted folders
#1
I've recently seen an issue with bluray playback (since around Frodo, I've been using nightlies)

For some reason, playing back a blu-ray ISO rip works fine, no problems whatsoever. However, if that same ISO is extracted into a folder structure (BDMV/index.bdmv) and the index.bdmv is played, there is a problem somewhere causing libbluray to be unable to open the required files to playback.
Here's an example from my debug log:

http://pastebin.com/8cYLwX0B

As you can see, it appears that CWinFileSMB is appending a \\?\UNC at the beginning of the files, which I'm not sure is correct or not. I've verified it's not just one movie; any movie with the extracted folder structure is affected.

I've verified I can open these files through Windows and the file browser, and the entire directory is available to XBMC. It seems that something is handing off the wrong file path to CWinFileSMB. I have also tried deleting and re-adding the title to make sure that it is not being caused by a bad database entry for that title. I've also tried renaming my local XBMC user settings folder to remove a local configuration issue from the equation, and I still have the same problem. This is with the latest nightly (8/12) and has been happening for some time now. I'd appreciate any help.

Yeah, looks like you're having the same issue I am. Good to see at least I'm not the only one!

So, I know we're on nightlies, but is it now time to submit a bug report? This seems to be an ongoing issue that will affect the next release if not fixed.
