Hi,

Just started to explore the excellent xbmc and was wondering if it was possible to hide all the settings and just bring them up when it is necessary to change anything.

Would be great to just have play options for the kids, then they would not be able to get into the wrong place by misstake.

most skins have something called "kiosk mode" in their settings.. thats a good start, if needbe you can play with the master lock settings, just dont lock the scripts/addons or you will get password prompted when scripts run.

In gotham (the next version, only available in beta) hides most settings unless you set it to a higher expertise level.

Also you might want to look at profiles, but I don't think hides settings (may be wrong there).

You could write protect your settings files and only write enable them when you want to change a setting. However that is at an operating system level, not xbmc.
