Ethernet over Coax
#1
Has anyone tried any of these out? I just purchased a new home and I need to get ethernet to my living room for an XBMC client. Its the first story and the second story goes all the way to the roof so I have no way of running cat5. I have tried powerline adapters but they have been problematic to say the least. When I saw this tech I was hopeful, but would love to hear if anyone has any experience with the tech.

He already tried powerline adaptors and they were problematic.

Moca works a lot better than powerline. It is a lot more reliable. I can constantly max out the 100mbps connection. It is a little more expensive though

I actually hooked up a second wireless router to a moca on the third floor of my house (main router on the first) and I am using that as a repeater. Now my wifi reaches further as well
