Hi,
I have been using XBMC a few years now and was originally very enthusiastic about it and ended up using it all the time. Since Frodo my enthusiasm has dwindled somewhat due to a number of issues, some major many minor. So much so that I am seriously considering finding some other use for my MacMini and switching to a Windows based set-up for XBMC. Then it struck me that it might not be a bad idea to see if some of the major problems cannot be solved if developers were actually paid for their efforts. Hence the idea of crowd funding MAC OSX support for XBMC.
The two or three major issues that I think might well be solved in this way are:
1. Photo support: Frodo crashes when confronted with raw images (DNG) and does not even support a database as the video section does.
2. Sorting out the sound problems
3. Working on general stability
What do you (devs) think? Could this work?
