Latest nightly builds (or Milhouse's latest) seems to have fixed the OSD controls going missing.
I've never seen the green corruption, so I'd be interested if that is still present.

Where can I find build you are talking about? Do you mean openelec builds?

I tried rbej's latest build (yestarday? - http://netlir.dk/rbej/builds/?dir=MilhouseVH/).
Indeed, osd is fixed, but I noticed problems with mkv 1080p playback - no video, no audio no, seek - strange. I thought it's 3d issue, but 2D files (without 3d tag) - the same.
I'm going to post debug log in appropriate thread.

Check your audio settings.
It has been reported that audio sometimes is reverted to analogue which can cause issues.
I actually recommend that you delete (rename to keep a backup) guisettings.xml since there are many new and changed settings which can cause issues.
