WIP Ember Media Manager 1.4.x BETA - Discussion Thread
^You understood me correctly.
The Kodi Interface does not access directly to the Kodi database or MySQL, it sends the informations to the Kodi JSON interface. That means you need a running instance of Kodi with enabled webinterface and Kodi save the informations to local SQLite or MySQL database.

The only things that not yet supported by Kodi JSON are updating actors, "All Seasons" images, status (for tv shows) and DateAdded. But we have created a feauture request, maybe they will add that in a later release of Kodi.
Sounds good. Thanks Dan!
ETA on episode folder supportHuh
I'm using the VideoExtras addon and have created an "Extras" folder in the root folder of a few shows.

Is there a way to have Ember completely ignore those? Right now, it is trying to scrape those folders and is creating a mess in the show listings.

The files in those folders are not named for scraping and they don't have any matches on TVDB. But Ember is still adding them with weird seasons and creating all these nfo and jpg files which I have to delete since they are not needed with VideoExtras.

Hi Dan !
I know that the option is there for making a default Video Source ( bluray ) in the renamer modules section .. but I am a bit confused about the naming convention. Could you please tell me how to do it so all my movies are scraped with bluray as a video source by default.
Thanks in Advance

Try removing the offending item from the EMM database. Right click on the TV Show's title and select Remove -> Remove From Database and then Update Library. You should be good after that. If you have multiple shows that are causing problems, you may be better off removing all shows from the EMM database and re-adding them.

Please update to the latest version. This bug should be fixed since 1.4.7.0:

Code:
[TVDB]
fixed: crash on every second (re-)scrape
fixed: Select Image dialog does not shown images they are specified as AllSeasons

add (bluray) at the end of the folder name or bluray in the filename somewhere.
I've just had a recent issue with using the imdb scraper with some Disney shorts (basically any of the ones here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Di...orts#2000s from 2000s to 2010s.

It is common when I have some TV movie to need to get the imdb code and verify it. I don't have many other shorts, but this approach has worked for the too. However, for these Disney shorts it doesn't seem to be working. When I click to verify imdb it spends like 5+ minutes doing something and then I just cancel it.

Maybe it's timing out on imdb's side and I can just try again later.

Please tell me one or more IMDB IDs you have tried. I will check that tomorrow.

I might have spoken too soon. I just worked my way through the whole list. It was stumbling a bit halfway through, but turning off my VPN really helped speed things along.
