From some days to now my installation of Xbmc + Aeon Nox become Incredible slow.
This problem is clear visibile when scrolling cover images of my film collection (wall style format). But every graphic movement is clear lag.

If I come back to Confluence skin Xbmc returns fast and perfect.

I read to much threads about this and done 1000 tests (SO, drivers, ecc. Ecc.) and finally without any hope I changed this :



And I'solved!!!
Incredible to me But It's real.

I hope that this can help some one else before go crazy.

What's that, a 9-pin to 25-pin serial adapter? If so, not sure what that has to do with the problem you described.

That'll be a DVI-I->VGA adapter.

I had odd issues with a small-form-factor Dell Studio machine when I used a specific adapter (it wouldn't always POST) - changing it to another adapter sorted that.

Odd, but sometimes the oddest things make the biggest differences.
