Hi guys, just a quick one - ATV 2

In the past my XBMC audio settings has had the option for Dolby / HD receiver etc...

My blue light on my receiver has always lit up for HD films with HD sound (mkv files)

The blue light stopped working so I went to check my sound settings in XBMC and all that was available were the following 2

*how many surround sound speakers
*input (optical/hdmi/auto)

No receiver option!?

I have it set to 5.1 and to optical (hdmi no difference) and still no blue receiver light.

The main apple tv menu audio is set as dolby capable


does anyone know whats going on? and where the receiver settings are?

I want my blue light back!

My guess is your using Gotham betas and there are now different settings modes - novice, intermediate and expert. If its not in expert mode it doesn't show all the settings. If your skin doesn't support it then you need to switch to confluence to change mode then it will show in your skin again

Hi mate. OK that sounds like the reason why, thank you.

I think i'm using confluence... i never change skins at all from default. How do I change between nov/int and expert?

I'm out at the mo so can't check but think its settings/appearance then press left to get menu. If not then check the Gotham wiki its all in there mate
