Win 24p for Plasma-TV?
#1
Huhu!

I am using my Windows 7 64 pc as the server for the XBMC. The PC is connected via HDMI to my AVR Onkyo 616. The Onkyo is connected via HDMI to my Samsung Plasma TV PS50c6970. Now when I watch 24p movies the plasma stays at 60hz! When I force the plasma to go to 24p with the sync option of XBMC it's stuttering like hell.

So usually when you use a mediaplayer or Bluray-player it automatically goes to 24p and everything works fine. What to do here now?

Thank you in advance

Sounds like a graphics driver issue. Basically if your driver supports 24, then xbmc should switch to it fine. has been working for me with my AMD APU jsut fine for a long time now...but same should be true of nvidia. Not sure on Intel.

I'd update your drivers and confirm the driver offers the 24p mode...
Addons I wrote &/or maintain:
OzWeather (Australian BOM weather) | Check Previous Episode | Playback Resumer | Unpause Jumpback | XSqueezeDisplay | (Legacy - XSqueeze & XZen)
Sorry, no help w/out a *full debug log*.

First of all this is totally not the correct forum section to post in.

Beforing wasting your time testing new drivers, have you checked the "adjust display refresh rate" option in your settings?
