CuBox-i a new possibility?
You've hit the nail on the head - the word is SUPPORT.

Specs, Ghz, bla bla it all pretty useless without support.

Sam knows his stuff, been running his Crystalbuntu2 on an ATV1 for years now.

Thankfully the Cubox-i will eventually be supported by Sam as well, but it will probably take more of a back seat with him releasing his own product.

In terms of the Cubox-i and OpenElec, I have it running quite successfully for both my parents. Very limited tech support is required once it has been set up which shows that it is fairly stable, but I am looking forward to Kodi being officially released as then all problems should, technically, be resolved.

How is support from Solidrun for Live TV de-interlacing going on the Cubox-i ?

I'm afraid I don't use it with TV tuners and have seen varied success on their forums. I'd recommend you go check out their forums at http://www.solid-run.com/community/viewforum.php?f=7

I think deinterlacing would be called a WIP.....

Or there isn't any bug and everything works fine? :-D
I'm still afraid of buying arm gadgets for xmbc....
Thanks a lot

Fixed in the last few months:
- HD Audio over HDMI (DTS MA, DTS-HD Master Audio)
- Limited range RGB for TVs that show crushed blacks if they don't receive 16-235 signal
- CEC (ability to use TV remote to control XBMC via TV)
- VC-1 codec

What is not working:
- Interlaced content direct from a terrestrial TV feed.
- 23.976 is rendered at 23.98, but sends signal to TV at 24Hz
- Gigabit ethernet sometimes plays up, so some people set it to 100Mbps.

Best image to try for XBMC use is Geexbox as it incorporates the imx6 specific changes.

The above text would be a good update reference when placed on the WIKI page in similar fashion to Known Problems on the Chromebox WIKI.

Or is this locked down by Solid-Run ?
