Hi there!
I need your help because I don't solve the problem.
Mac mini 2008 (old model). I configure the screen setting for 24p.
With Plex (video smooth, no drop frames)
With XBMC (every 4-5 seconds 1 frame drop, no smooth)
I've tried everything on settings and no luck.
Do you know how to change xbmc player to run like Plex player?

We need to know more about your settings in XBMC. Take screen shots, if you can. A
debug log (wiki) of when XBMC starts up would also be good.

I think it might be something funky with audio settings. XBMC is able to playback the video smoothly, but is trying to keep things in sync with audio (if I understand the logs correctly).
Can you take a screen shot of your audio settings? XBMC -> Settings -> System -> Audio output

If you have one of the "sync to display" options turned on, try turning it off. Just a guess.
