[Feature Request] Custom http commands
#1
Would it be possible to add a feature to allow for custom http commands to be executed? Constellation has this feature and it works really well to control other parts of my home theater using http commands. For example, I have Eventghost set up with the webserver plugin, so to turn on my lights I just need to open the appropriate URL to execute the event in EventGhost. It would be really nice to be able to set up a set of buttons that I can assign arbitrary http commands to. It would be fantastic if a different set of commands can be stored for each xbmc connection instance. That way, I only see the custom commands that are appropriate for the room I am in.

+1, this would be really useful for customizing it to work exactly as needed.
XBMC.MyLibrary (add anything to the library)
ForTheLibrary (Argus TV & XBMC Library PVR Integration)
SageTV & XBMC PVR Integration

+1 for me too. I have eventghost running a IR transceiver so I can turn my tv and receiver on and off from my phone (and turn volume up and down on the receiver). Constellation does indeed allow custom http commands - but I much prefer using the official IOS remote.
