Question
Here's what I'm looking at. Let me know if this will easily run
XBMCbuntu with 3D movie playback. Thanks!

Case: CASE LIANLI PC-Q25B
Motherboard: Zotac H87ITX-A-E
CPU: Intel Pentium G3220
Memory: Kingston HyperX XMP Blu Red Series 8GB
Power Supply: RAIDMAX | RX-735AP R

No-One?
I'm having a hard time figuring out the breaking point for full 3D playback,
video decoding. Everyone seems to say stay away from AMD where Linux
is concerned (so those APUs are out), but not much talk about which Intel
CPU/GPU starts handling 3D well: 4000, 4400, 4600, etc.

http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/sb/CS-034162.htm

So it looks like only Core CPU's will play 3D.

Wow... so the 3000 series will do it.
That's awesome, thanks Amelandbor!

Ok, so I'm going to spend a bit more than intended, but it
looks like I'll have a damn nice all-in-one system with LOTS
of hard drive space:

Case: CASE LIANLI PC-Q25B
Motherboard: ASRock Z87E-ITX
CPU: Intel Core i3-4330
Memory: Kingston HyperX XMP Blu Red Series 8GB (2 x 4GB)
Total price is just under $500.

That's without Hard Drives, of course... but I can add those as I
need them. I'll probably be sticking with Western Digital Red drives.
