Hi,

I am currently using xbmc on my iPad 1 to stream vids from my network HDD and then i am using an apple VGA adaptor to output it to the TV. It used to work fine, when I had the adaptor plugged in xbmc would load into TV mode with the swipe controls and I would then control it via a remote app on my phone. However recently the VGA adaptor broke and I had to get a new one, I know this new one works because the DisplayOut app correctly outputs the screen image to the tv, but xbmc won't seem to recognise it...

I can use DisplayOut to play SD videos on the TV just fine but it can't handle HD vids without going jerky, when xbmc using the 'TV mode' used to work just fine for HD.

If anyone has any idea how to fix this please let me know!

DisplayOut itself might be causing an issue. Try disabling it.

Thanks, I had tried disabling it but it didn't work, but I tried uninstalling it completely and it is working fine now!
